grandma sandys visit

Grandma Sandy came to visit!! We had a great time! Ryan got to show her his awesome soccer skills when she came with us to our soccertots class!! He taught her how to play Candyland! Still his favorite game. :) And he convinced her to go outside to play with him....she must really love him....Mommy and Daddy don't even go out in that heat! :)

potty training

With Ryans third birthday approaching and wanting to go to preschool in the fall, we thought it was time to give potty training a shot! We bought Ryan a special sesame street potty seat to go on the toilet, and potty treat (M&M's) and a reward chart. The first few days were interesting...Ryan ran around the house naked most of the time!! But it worked!! Then it was time for "big boy underwear"!! These sealed the deal, he didn't want to get his "bob's" (bob the builder) wet, so he made sure to make it to the potty to avoid any accidents. I can't believe how easy this has been. We might be in for trouble when it's Jaina's turn!!

Jaina's 9 month

Jaina is 9 months!! What a special milestone....she has now been outside, the same amount of time that she was inside!! I can't believe how time has flown by, she is growing way too fast. How blessed our family is to have her in our world!! She is the most precious and special girl!!
