soccer mom

Well, it started with the minivan....then Ryan made it official, I am now a soccer mom :)

This is the soccer kick off party where the kids met their coaches....Ryan is ready to play!!!

Our first scheduled practice got rained out, so this is take 2.

preschool

It is really hard to believe that Ryan is off to preschool (VPK). He is the same age as the little guys I used to teach before he was born!! It is so amazing how time flies, people say that all of the time, and it is so true!!

Ryan picked out his backpack....I think we'll make this a tradition!!

It's funny, the bag is almost as big as he is, but the school requires a "full" size backpack!

Okay, I admit it...I cried on the way to school.

Daddy went in late to work so he could be there on his first morning. What a great daddy my kids have!!

All aboard the Faith Viera Express. Every morning they have to stop, hold onto the grey railing, bounce up and down and say "chugga, chugga choo choo" it's their thing!

Downtown Cocoa Village

I love this place, it is so peaceful and beautiful. There are lots of unique shops and eateries. There's a great big open field with and amphitheater for shows, a water fountain that shoots up out of the ground that the kids can run through, and playgrounds. Today we went for ice cream, and magic!

The Dove Magic Shop has a kids day the first Saturday of the month, free magic shows, popcorn, balloon animals, and face painting!! Pretty cool!

Jainas 2 yr check up

It's hard to believe that our little girl is two years old, time really did fly this time around!!

When we got to her appointment, I was fully prepared for the screaming that would be coming at the end of it all.....SHOTS. Luckily she is all caught up and didn't need a single one!! I got off easy this time, for once :)

The Doctor said that Miss Jaina is perfect in every way....couldn't agree more!!

We did discuss a couple of her challenges, such as taking off her diaper whenever she gets the chance! scratching, scratching, scratching those darn mosquito bites, I'm at my wits end with that one...hopefully her skin will survive without too many "battle" scars.

Apparently there's not much more that I can do about either....this too shall pass :)
