bye bye kindergarten

How can this be, our baby is now officially....

a 1st grader!!!

This year was so amazing, Ryan grew so much in such a short time.

He surprises us everyday with new things he learns.

Happy and sad all rolled into one.  

We love Mrs. McLellan, she will be a tough act to follow!! 

Post tumble treat

Today was the last day of tumble this session. Since some of our friends are taking a break from the gym this summer, we decided to stop at dairy queen for one last hurrah!

Jaina really loves going to tumble each week, and a lot of it has to do with her friends. 

We sure do love them all!

Another season in the bag!

Ryan loves t-ball so much, but it's starting to get so hot that even he was ready to be done!

We had such an awesome season, great coaches and kids made for a fun time.

Cant wait for fall ball!

Star Wars Weekend!

I really wish we would have been able to get some more photos from this day....but we were too busy being 'in" the fun to stop and take a pic of it!  Everyone had a great time, even though it was SUPER hot and busy.  I admit that even I thought it was awesome.  Seeing all of the star wars characters walking around hollywood studios WAS pretty cool!

Note for next year, if you want to see anything (shows, parade, etc) you have to get there three hours ahead of time to save your seat!!  

FireStation 48!

Today was our for "real" field trip to the fire station with our church playgroup!

Here's a picture of Jaina saying hi to the firefighter, so glad she wasn't afraid of him....come to think of it....there isn't much that she is afraid of!!

This Lt must have done these field trips ALOT, he was really good with the kiddos!

Katherine is 5 months....how'd that happen?!

Happy 5 months to our little monkey!! 

She is full of smiles and giggles these days. 

Katherine has such a happy spirit about her. 

Her little laugh is so cute, it makes her big screams, not so bad ;)  It's pretty cool that Ryan can get her to laugh and smile on cue....she adores her big brother!! 

 I cant believe how quickly the time has gone.  It seems like just yesterday we were bringing her home for the first time.

 



 



Ryan's first note....

So Ryan has been writing for a while now...he writes everyday in school, but this was his first "note" to us.  All on his own!  He went into his room and came out about 5 minutes later and handed me this :)

I'm so happy he feels this way, it makes days that aren't so good...seem not so bad :)

I think I may need to frame this!!

Ice Cream and Firefighters!!

 After we took our family pics we stopped into Redberry to treat the kids for cheesin it up for the camera!!  Who knew firefighters eat frozen yogurt?!  The kids were excited to see the truck pull up and then to see them walk in. So when we were finished we went up to the truck and the fireman let them try on some of his gear!!  Too cool, I love this little town of ours :)

Astros TBall

I REALLY hope that Ryan continues to like playing baseball, he has a knack for it...and I love it too :)

His skills have really come along...he thinks he got a trophy last year because he was super fast!

He is hitting the ball really well too, maybe it's time to move him up to machine pitch!!

Only three games left in the spring season, it's been a great team.  Lots of fun (see below)

And it has been awesome to get to see Angel out there with Ryan!
