Cocoa Village Fountains

We had to make a trip up to cocoa after school today, so I packed the kids swim stuff just in case the fountains were on....good thing :)  Free fun is the best!!  And Katherine slept most of the time, I guess the sound of the water was relaxing!!

I kept waiting for the water to shoot up and get them smack in the face but it never did~

For the first ten minutes, Jaina would come over to me so often, and say, "hey mom, I'm WET!"
and then laugh hysterically!

Here's the playground right next to the water fun!  They swung there for about 20 minutes....good thing we did this first, the only way I could get them off the swings willingly was to point to the fountains!

Animal Kingdom

This was the last park that we needed to make it to.  It was fun, we had to do it at least once, but I think we wont be going back anytime soon!  There's more fun to be had at the others for our kiddos. And there were no princesses here, a big bummer for Jaina!

Here's Jaina in the kids favorite spot of the day, the bone yard playground!  I think that they would have been content to spend the whole day in here.

The dinosaur version of Dumbo!

The animals were pretty cool, we don't have lions, tigers, hippos, or gorillas at our zoo!

kinder perfomance

Oh my goodness, it doesnt get any cuter than this.  The kids all did such a great job!!
Alicia and Dennis came to watch our little man too.
Super helpful since I had to video everything for dad who had class :(
I dont know who was more sad about missing it, dad or Ryan!

I cant believe we have an almost 1st grader on our hands!!

Space Coast Spring Fair

Since we can literally see the fair from our front porch, there was no way the kids were going to let us NOT go, so off we went....funnel cakes and fun!!

This was their favorite of the night!!  Ryan said it made his tummy feel funny :)

Jainas sidekick puppy wanted to come too

Thank goodness parents werent allowed on this ride, I dont think Angel ot I could have handled it!!

scary to think that this will be Ryan for real in 10 short years!!

Hollywood Studios

Our first family trip to this park...the kids loved it!!

The both have seen fantasia, so when Ryan saw this hat he had to try it on.
He makes a pretty cute sorcerers apprentice if you ask me :)

Little Mermaid was awesome!!  Jaina is super into Ariel right now so she was in awe!!

Wreck it Ralph, as you can see from the picture Jaina was a little hesitant to get anywhere near the big guy!!  But the girl with the candy in her hair was her bff :)

Hey, where's perry?! These guys were hilarious!!

One of my all time favorite pics of Ryan and Jaina, they look like they REALLY love each other!!

On a side note, we bought this shirt for Ryan when he was Katherine's age!!
We knew it would come in handy someday.

The kiddos loved this Honey I shrunk the kids movie set playground, unfortunately it closes before the rest of the park, so they only got about 10 minutes to enjoy it....next time!

Camp Gatwick!

So this week was Spring Break...we planned on going up to Wekiva Springs to go camping for two nights, we didn't however, plan on Katherine being sick :(
Not to worry we just set up camp inside the house!!

The kids were so pumped to have a tent in the middle of the living room

Instant campfire, thanks to our fire bowl.  Jaina didn't like the popping noise coming from the fire so we ate our hot dogs inside.

Time to turn out the lights, only lanterns and flashlights allowed

By the time we were ready for smores our fire was too low,
so we improvised and made them in the oven.

Success...ewwwy gooey goodness!

We wanted the kids to sleep, so we opted for stories about camping rather than the typical ghost stories around the campfire :)

What did the world do before pinterest?  I found this cute fishing activity on there, the kids loved it!
The really liked when it was Daddy's turn to cast the line and then they got to decide when the fish got away with his bait!
