TeeBall

We really have loved the LilSports program, it has given Ryan a little taste of 4 different sports. It's too early to tell at this point which ones he will stick with in the future, but seemed to really enjoy teeball. And I think he's a natural :) This pic has "accident waiting to happen" all over it!! But Ryan was very careful with his little sister.

Jaina wants to do WHATEVER Ryan is doing, this is going to be a pattern for a very long time I think

It was a million degrees out there, but we still got the big cheese and the double thumbs up!!

Checkout that follow through...I'm telling you....Atlanta Braves meet your next all star!! No pressure Ryan :)

Now that we've made the circuit of the 4 sports in LilSports, we are thinking about putting Ryan on a team. The choices for fall sports here are flag football, or soccer. We'll keep you posted on which one Ryan decides to do :)

Happy Easter 2011 :)

Easter morning, just about ready to leave for church

No Easter look would be complete without the Batman shades :)

In the foyer at church, in front of Daddy's favorite picture

The Easter Bunny delivered our treats while we were at church.

He even called Daddy to let him know where the baskets were hidden!!

I got Ryan to smile at the camera...

but he was eagerly awaiting his Easter surprise,

so no luck getting his eyes to glance my way!

Jaina stuffing her little mouth full of candy, right before nap time....

what were her parents thinking?!

Oh, but wait she wants to share, what a good little girl we have!

Angel got Ryan the Mario figure a while back, now he has Luigi too!

He was super excited about this, he wanted him out of the package asap

so he could play with them both!

Easter Egg Hunt

We came across this awesome Easter celebration at a church by the house. The kids had a blast, FREE everything...bouncy house, balloon animals, pony rides, bbq lunch, sno-cones, glitter tattoos...you name it, they had it!

Daddy and Ryan enjoying the "beautiful day"

I had to point Jaina in the right direction at first, but she got the hang of this egg hunt thing real quick!

Ryan cleaned up shop!

I'm a little embarrassed to say this, being from San Antonio, but this is Ryan's very 1st raspa (sno-cone) he chose blue of course~

Sparky the Clown made Ryan this cool spiderman hat!

Ryan went through the bouncy house obstacle course and down the slide three times all on his own....he's getting braver everyday!

publix

Publix is the big grocery store down here.

Our play group from church took the kids on a little field trip :)

I think they both find the hairnets amusing :)

This is the first time I have ever seen Ryan hold someones hand, other than mommy and daddy! They must be BFF's!!

Checking out, how the checking out process works.

A stop at the bakery to observe the decorating skills

They even got a glob of icing on their finger to sample

I wish every shopping trip ended with a cookie :)

Jaina and Ryan are very happy campers!!

viera wetlands

We heard of this really cool area called the Viera Wetlands
like 5 minutes away from the house.
I am so glad that we went to check it out,
it was REALLY beautiful and awesome to see :)

Baby gators....so cute :) Where's momma gator though??

Angel brought "eagle eye" Ryan up front with him.

He loved driving the van, now I'm sure he will want

to drive everywhere!!

Jaina kept an eye out from her seat in the back!!

There's a big one...so glad we were in the comfort AND safety

of our van. I do not want another Brazos Bend experience!

One very big reason we do not let the kids out in

the back by themselves. This guy was enormous!!!

Here's a zoomed pic of the BEAST!

Are you ready for some football??

Today was week two of Lil Sports--Football Edition :)
Angel and I switch off every week on who gets to take Ryan.
So Jaina had some daddy time, and I was able to cheer Ryan on at his football class!!
It's so great to spend the one on one time with the kids.

Yes, he did catch the ball...I love this face!!

Notice how he is holding the ball...natural!?!?

I think he is giving the ball a little pep talk

before he kicks it!!

Thanks Coach Reed...mommy and daddy

has become his at home practice tackling mat!!

Spring Training in Florida

One thing that we love about being back in Florida is Spring Training!! Dozens of major league teams call Florida their home in March. Viera is home to the Washington Nationals. Space Coast Stadium is right down the road from our house, so we couldn't resist some professional baseball action. We rounded up our friends bundled up the kiddos, and headed over to the stadium. It was a cool coincidence that the Nationals opponent was the Astros...a little taste of Texas here in the sunshine state!!

This was Jaina's very first baseball experience...she did awesome.
I knew she would, the love of the game is in her blood!

Ryan didn't care much for the noise, of course our seats were

right in front of the loud speakers!!

But a little bit of cotton candy and popcorn and he was fine!

Jaina was a fan of the cotton candy too...who knew kids love SUGAR!

The space shuttle monument outside of the stadium

Anytime Ryan sees a shuttle he says,

"hey mom, remember when we saw the space shuttle blasting off?!"

It must have made quite the impression on the little guy :)

We left just after the 7th inning stretch to beat the traffic.

We ended the night with pj's, hot cocoa and post game fireworks,

we had an awesome view from our backyard :)
