Katherine got a new toy....Jaina being the great big sister that she is, is showing her how it works!

I asked Ryan what he wanted for dinner tonight, I was so surprised by his answer....FISH.  And even more surprised that he actually ate it and asked for seconds!  Finally sonething besides the typical kids menu :)

happy bday dr seuss

This was just too cute not to add to the blog :)  Ryan's school does a whole week long celebration of Dr. Seuss when his birthday rolls around.  They had lots of fun activities at school planned for the kids.  Ryan's favorite thing was "drop everything and Seuss" where he was able to bring a favorite one of the Seuss books from home to read at school.  Because of this we have discovered something amazing.  Ryan can read Green Eggs and Ham all by himself....what else can this guy do that he's been keeping secret?!

opening day astros!

It's that time again!!  I love baseball season, luckily for me so does Ryan :)  This year we are the Astros, and Daddy is helping to coach again...Hooray!!  Most of his team is made up of the kids that played together last season, it is really cool to watch them work together!  They actually look like they know what they are doing out there!  Not many pictures this time around....it was 50 degrees outside, so I was busy "cacooning" Katherine and wrangling Jaina while the boys were out on the field!!  I will post more pics of upcoming, warmer games!

AARRGGG Matey!!!

Daddy went to help a friend out with some yard work, so the big kids and I went to check out a brand new park down in Palm Bay.  It was pretty cool, Ryan and Jaina were both pretty excited when they saw the pirate park.

Jaina saw the treasure chest and immediately said, "wheres the key!?"  she then proceeded to find sticks that would fit into the key hole to try and pick the lock!!

Ryan made some new friends, they of course ran around pretending to be pirates!!  Ryan kept running around yelling "abandon ship, abandon ship"  where does he come up with this stuff??

Jaina still amazes me with what she will try, and then again by what she accomplishes
