Downtown Disney

Our last stop before taking Clarissa back to the airport was downtown Disney.

Her and I were like zombies from sleep deprivation, but it was fun!!

We love this place, it's a taste of the magic, with none of the price :)

No admission ticket, no parking fee, it's GREAT!!

Pirate Captain Ryan....Aaaarrr Matey!

this place was something new since we left. TREX restaurant, just like rainforest cafe but with dinosaurs!! Ryan thought it was pretty cool until, we walked in and TREX tried to swallow him whole!

The lego store is another great place, it is so amazing to see these works of Lego art. What an awesome job to have....I wonder how much they get paid to do that?! Perfect job for Ryan :)

Ryans BirthDAY

We always have a family celebration on the kids actual birthdays, we try and find something fun to do that would make the day extra special. This year Ryan had a super special day!! First of all because Clarissa was here to help celebrate :) We started the day at the Cocoa Beach Aquatic Center. We'd never been before, but we will definatly be back!! They have an awesome covered kids pool and splash pad. And big bonus....NO jellyfish!! :) A good time was had by all.

Jaina blowing kisses to the camera!

Ryan made out like a bandit with his birthday loot!! I think it's safe to say he has enough superhero stuff to last a lifetime. Daddy might disagree :)

It's a shield, AND a frisbee, too cool :)

It just so happend that the church memorial day picnic was on Ryans birthday too!! After all the swimming and present fun we headed over to enjoy the fun and food :)

We ended the night at Pizza Gallery for their yummy buffet.

When we were done eating the employees came out and sang to Ryan and gave him the complimentary dessert!!

Our boy is 4 years old!! How'd that happen?

Jetty (Jelly) Park

One of the many good things about having out of town guests in that you go to places that you normally take for granted. One such place is Jetty Park. We've heard about it for years, (its a prime spot for viewing launches) So when Clarissa came we decided to take her to a nice beach, to give her the authentic Florida experience. It was a beautiful park/beach....but being memorial weekend it was SUPER crowded by people, and other things....

Jaina is a water baby!! She'd live in the water if she could!

Ryan ready for some beach fun with his pirate tat!

Angel at the beginning of his challenge to put up the shade canopy...all smiles

Here are the other things that I was talking about. I've never seen so many people or jellies on the beach before. Clarissa was playing with Jaina in the water and scarificed herself, so Jaina didnt get stung :( A true friend!! I've never been stung myself, but judging from her experience it's not something I would like!!

So the poor kids couldnt get in the water....a major bust on the tourist front...but one highlight was seeing these gigantic cruise ships leaving port canaveral!! A sight to see for sure :)

Camp Holly Airboats

One of the many reasons I love my husband, he watched the kiddos for us everyday so that Clarissa and I could get out and have some girl time!!

I promised him the same deal when future guests arrive :)

This was our first adventure, airboat rides!! So much fun :)

It was just us and the two boat drivers!! It made for an interesting ride to say the least.

Getting that close to "country folk" was worth the price of admission, lol.

The beautiful scenery was another plus.

Sharing the experience with my dear friend made it even better :)

And the gators were pretty cool too!!

(there is no zoom on this pic...it was really that close)

I never thought I would use the word cute to describe a gator, but i guess a "baby" anything gets that title!

TeeBall

We really have loved the LilSports program, it has given Ryan a little taste of 4 different sports. It's too early to tell at this point which ones he will stick with in the future, but seemed to really enjoy teeball. And I think he's a natural :) This pic has "accident waiting to happen" all over it!! But Ryan was very careful with his little sister.

Jaina wants to do WHATEVER Ryan is doing, this is going to be a pattern for a very long time I think

It was a million degrees out there, but we still got the big cheese and the double thumbs up!!

Checkout that follow through...I'm telling you....Atlanta Braves meet your next all star!! No pressure Ryan :)

Now that we've made the circuit of the 4 sports in LilSports, we are thinking about putting Ryan on a team. The choices for fall sports here are flag football, or soccer. We'll keep you posted on which one Ryan decides to do :)

Happy Easter 2011 :)

Easter morning, just about ready to leave for church

No Easter look would be complete without the Batman shades :)

In the foyer at church, in front of Daddy's favorite picture

The Easter Bunny delivered our treats while we were at church.

He even called Daddy to let him know where the baskets were hidden!!

I got Ryan to smile at the camera...

but he was eagerly awaiting his Easter surprise,

so no luck getting his eyes to glance my way!

Jaina stuffing her little mouth full of candy, right before nap time....

what were her parents thinking?!

Oh, but wait she wants to share, what a good little girl we have!

Angel got Ryan the Mario figure a while back, now he has Luigi too!

He was super excited about this, he wanted him out of the package asap

so he could play with them both!
